New gas processing plant: permit filed, start-up water ahead
Permian Basin, TX · a midstream operator
GPS address · Exact site coordinates are included with every paid plan.
What happened
- Our proprietary signal process picked up a new regulatory filing for a gas processing plant in October 2026. It is still pending.
- A public project announcement in August 2026 said the operator plans to have the plant in service in 2028.
- New gas plants need high-purity makeup water for the first amine fill, plus hydrotest water for piping and vessels (our read).
Timing
Early. Filing made October 2026, still pending. Service planned for 2028 (reported, not confirmed). Start of field work not confirmed.
Size signal
Large. A new-build plant reported at hundreds of millions of cubic feet of gas a day. Plant size is context, not water demand.

“Very valuable… That creates an unfair advantage. That saves lots of work, lots of time.”
Plans
Most crews hear about a project once the bid list is forming. A plan puts them in front of you at the first signal. Miss one and a competitor gets the contract; win one and that award can cover years of the subscription.
